Do the words, “One Click Install” and “Automatic Update” sound good to you? Well if your web server runs on Debian Linux, both of these can be a reality, thanks to the hard work of Xavier Lüthi!

Installing Pixelpost can now be as simple as typing this single command: sudo apt-get install pixelpost

It doesn’t get much better than that!

Defensio addon update February 16

Posted by Dennis | 0 Comments

Today, the Defensio addon has been updated to version 1.3.1.

This release fixes a few problems users were experiencing. Namely, if a comment is flagged as spam, Pixelpost will no longer send you a comment notification e-mail. This should help keep your inbox much cleaner. Also, several users reported an issue with Defensio not being able to include it’s function libraries. This too has been fixed.

So if you are a Defensio user, grab the new version from the Extend section today!

Posted by jaywilliams | 5 Comments

You know what’s best about open source applications such as Pixelpost?
Everyone has the ability to look at our code and make sure that everything is secure.
Well, as it turns out, someone did just that, and found a security flaw.

So it’s highly recommend that everyone upgrade as soon as possible to prevent any possible security breaches.

And if you’re a security conscious person, you may want to change your password just to play it safe.

The latest version can be downloaded here:

Posted by jaywilliams | 5 Comments

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am pleased to announce the immediate release of Pixelpost v1.7 Release Candidate 1!

What does this mean to me?

If you’re the kind of person who likes to live life on the edge so to speak, you can now download Pixelpost 1.7 before we release the public version later next week.

Is this like a BETA or something?
No, not quite. It’s a release candidate, which means, if nobody finds any serious bugs in this RC, we will use that as the official public version.

So it’s VERY important to post your results here, especially if you encounter any bugs/errors.

So, what are you waiting for… download the RC and let us know what you think!
